Yiyang Wang (汪逸阳)
I am a second-year (starting from 2024) Ph.D. student at The University of Hong Kong, supervised by Prof. Hengshuang Zhao. Before joining HKU, I got my bachelor degree in computer science at Peking University in July 2024. My research interests lie in the fields of visual generative models and multimodal models. I am particularly interested in: (1) solving real visual creation needs using visual generative models; (2) boosting generative model performance with curated criteria (e.g., RLVR, RLAIF); (3) evaluating generative models objectively and properly for better generation. I believe that evaluations are crucial for a better generative model. I am currently a research intern at TongYi Vision Intelligence Lab. I enjoy exploring the world through my footsteps, my eyes, and taking photographs with my Nikon Zf 📷. You can contact me at yiyangwang [at] connect [dot] hku [dot] hk.
